We completed an archival project for the Law Department at the University of Alberta where all graduation composites were removed from their frames and brought to the studio. Over 8,000 graduates' portraits were captured, labeled, and added to the database. We photographed both the composites and individual graduate portraits. Each photograph required adjustments, retouching, and color correction. The project took 40 days to complete, with all 8,082 pictures being photographed. Some of the graduation composites were damaged due to light and moisture, so after retouching and restoring the digital copies, they were printed to their original size, reframed, and returned to their original location. Some of the photographs were also printed and presented to graduates or donors as a token of appreciation.
